Tea ceremony conducted by Peter

Koshosai Chado
The Way of Tea

Chado, the Way of Tea, is a Japanese art form, but one with values common to all cultures and to humanity itself.A Tea gathering is the thoughtful and considered creation of a unique event, shared between the host and guests. A favourite Tea expression is 'ichigo ichie', meaning 'one time, one meeting'. Tea is created not just by the host, but by the host and guests together. There are Koshösai Chado meetings several times per week. Instruction is through participation - given to the individual, but within the group. Classes are friendly, relaxed and welcoming.
